Mindful Stewards was intentionally designed to be accessible to ordinary people — including those with little or no prior trading experience.
Many brokerage platforms contain hundreds of features, tools, settings, and educational resources.
The good news is that most Mindful Stewards members only need to become comfortable with a small number of basic functions.

Mindful Stewards was not designed around constant screen watching, complex technical analysis, or high-frequency trading behavior.
You do not need to become an active trader or learn every feature of your brokerage platform.
You simply need to become comfortable with the basic mechanics of participation.
Many members are busy professionals, retirees, parents, caregivers, or individuals who have little prior experience with financial markets. The goal is not mastery of a trading platform. The goal is developing enough familiarity to participate calmly and confidently.
Because brokerage platforms change frequently, Mindful Stewards does not create platform-specific training materials for every broker.
Instead, we curate educational resources that we believe provide helpful introductions to the platforms commonly used by our members.

Members are encouraged to review whichever resources they find most helpful and to move at a pace that feels comfortable.
As you review the resources in this library, focus primarily on learning three actions:

Most members can safely ignore the vast majority of advanced platform features until they become comfortable with these three basic actions.

Take time to explore your platform, review educational materials, and become comfortable before participating with real capital.
Members are encouraged to begin conservatively and gradually increase participation only as their confidence and familiarity grow.
The Broker Learning Center will continue evolving as Mindful Stewards grows and as member needs become clearer.
Additional brokers, educational resources, and participation materials may be added over time as the community expands.
The short videos for each broker listed below are designed to help members feel comfortable using their preferred brokerage platform.
The platform walkthrough videos demonstrate basic navigation, account layouts, watchlists, positions, and other common features. The order-entry tutorials then demonstrate how to place buy and sell orders using simple market orders, along with optional stop-loss orders when available.
These tutorials are intended to help members understand the basic mechanics of participation. No prior trading experience is required, and members are encouraged to move at a comfortable pace.
The goal is not to become an active trader. The goal is simply to feel confident using the tools needed to participate in Mindful Stewards.
